The global risk landscape has undergone a fundamental and underappreciated reorientation in recent decades: threats have shifted dramatically from traditional geopolitical and nation-state challenges to nonstate actors and threats. Our training provides the strategic context to understand the risks that are disrupting the world, and the ways that government and industry are adapting.
Who we are

Our team is led by Alan Bersin, a former senior executive in the Departments of Homeland Security and Justice as well as INTERPOL, with extensive experience in the private sector and academia.
New Macro Risks is made up of top experts from government and academia, including the White House, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice, the Harvard Kennedy School, and the University of Texas-Austin.
